SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBSITE RELEASE POLICY

Norwood Boys Lacrosse (“NBL”) is proud to celebrate the achievements, teamwork, and experiences of our players. From time to time, photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during practices, games, tournaments, clinics, team events, or other NBL-related activities.

Use of Images and Video

By participating in Norwood Boys Lacrosse activities, players and their parents/guardians grant permission for NBL to use photographs and video recordings of the player for the following purposes:

  • Posting on official NBL website

  • Posting on official NBL social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

  • Promotional, educational, or informational materials related to NBL

Images and videos may include individual players or groups and may be used without identifying players by full name.

No Compensation

No compensation will be provided for the use of any images or videos.

Respect and Appropriate Use

Norwood Boys Lacrosse is committed to using images and videos in a respectful, appropriate, and positive manner that reflects the values of youth sports, sportsmanship, and community.

Opt-Out and Removal Requests

Parents or legal guardians may request that:

  • Their player not be featured in future photos or videos, and/or

  • An existing image or video be removed from NBL's website or social media platforms

Requests will be honored as promptly as reasonably possible. While NBL will make every effort to remove content, it may not be feasible to control or retrieve content that has already been shared or reposted by third parties.
